Mr. Ernest Williams, DBE, originally from Monroe, Louisiana, is the esteemed founder and owner of
Empower Transitional Housing Inc, a nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas, dedicated to
providing safe, structured, and supportive housing for individuals in transition. Mr. Williams’ deep
commitment to community service is rooted in his lifelong efforts to combat homelessness,
particularly through initiatives focused on feeding and supporting the homeless population.
Now doing impactful work in the city of Houston, Mr. Williams leads Empower Transitional Housing
Inc with a mission to foster personal growth, stability, and self-sufficiency. He is driven by a profound
belief in empowering individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity, offering not only transitional
housing but also vital resources and guidance to ensure lasting success and independence.
A proud native of Monroe, Louisiana, Mr. Williams brings a strong sense of compassion and
dedication to his work, shaped by his upbringing and personal values. Looking ahead, he is focused
on expanding the organization’s reach through strategic partnerships with local businesses,
